Silence and Solitude

There is the popular belief these days that the world belongs to those with a lot of drive and initiative, the go-getters. But what is often forgotten is that those who are leaders in their fields often take time to think, to ponder, to meditate on their life and the lives of others, finding their strength, new ideas, and motivation in quiet and positive reflection.

As I said in My Word, "In quietness and in confidence shall be your strength" (Isaiah 30:15b). There's a time and purpose for everything in your life; a time for solitude and a time for fellowship, a time for work and a time for play. It is in keeping the right balance between these times that you will make the most of this gift of life that I have given you.
